Hi! We are so glad you are here.
Welcome to a judgement-free parenting zone, where your child is both accepted and pushed to the next level. If you're ready to help your kiddo reduce problem behaviors and learn new skills, you've come to the right place.
What is Behavioral Therapy?
Behavioral Therapy, or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), is an evidence-based approach to teaching skills and reducing problematic behaviors in ALL human beings. Behavioral concerns occur as a result of a some unmet need and an inability to effectively communicate these wants and needs. There is NO SUCH THING as a bad kid—only kids who need to get regulated and learn some new strategies to help!
Behavior analytic approaches are used with both neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals. There is no limitation regarding the diagnostic criteria that much be met in order for behavioral therapy to be an effective intervention. We work with individuals with and without various cognitive disorders and developmental delays.
Skills taught in behavioral therapy include but are not limited to:
Potty training
Communication
Emotion Regulation
Social and Play Skills
Picky Eating
Exposure to Fears
